Tehran-IRNA - The 26th International Tile, Ceramic and Sanitary Health Exhibition of Iran will be opened on Friday, July 9, 1398 with the participation of countries such as Italy, Spain and China in an area of ​​more than 16,000 square meters in the permanent site of international exhibitions in Tehran. .

Mohammad Roshanfark, head of the Iranian Ceramic Tile Association, said in a conversation with IRNA''s economic reporter on Friday that the exhibition is scheduled to open for visitors for four days and will end on 12th of July.

He added that 160 domestic companies will participate in this exhibition and the latest achievements of the country''s tile and ceramics industry will be subject to evaluation and evaluation of domestic and foreign merchants.

Iranian manufacturers last year had close to 400 million square meters of ceramic tile production, with installed capacity of production units 35 to 40 percent more than the supply of products.

In the early 90''s, Iran was ranked among the five exporting and exporting countries of ceramic tiles, but now, while maintaining its position among manufacturers, it has been ranked 9th or 10th in terms of exports due to international conditions.

According to Intellectual, the International Tile and Ceramic Exhibition of Iran is the best-selling domestic product with the Grade A feature, and it is expected that a number of contracts will be signed with foreign parties at the fair.

The statistics on the production, consumption, export and import of ceramic tiles during the years 1392-96 show that the average production during the survey period is 380 million square meters, and consumption during this period averaged 230 million square meters, in the field of exports The year 92, when it was 114 million square meters, fell slightly in the years 93 and 94, then in 1995 and 96 it reached 126 and 148 million square meters.
